President of Uzbekistan to Pay an Official Visit to Belarus

President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev will pay an official visit to Belarus on 8–9 July at the invitation of President Alexander Lukashenko, the Dunyo News Agency reports.
According to the Presidential Press Service, the programme of the visit to Minsk includes high-level talks.
The leaders will discuss ways to further expand the multifaceted partnership between Uzbekistan and Belarus.
The agenda will focus on increasing bilateral trade and deepening cooperation in agriculture, mechanical engineering, pharmaceuticals, the textile and food industries, as well as other industrial sectors.
Particular attention will also be given to expanding cultural and humanitarian exchange programmes.
Following the summit, the two sides are expected to adopt a substantial package of bilateral documents covering priority areas of cooperation.
Ahead of the visit, Minsk will host the Third Interregional Forum, bringing together regional delegations and business representatives from both countries.
