Spain and Uzbekistan resume direct flights in the spring season

The well-known tour operator Travelplan, part of the Ávoris group, has resumed tourist flights between Spain and Uzbekistan this spring, according to Dunyo News Agency, citing the Spanish specialized portal Expreso.
The company has once again started offering direct flights, strengthening its position as the only operator on this route.
The flight program began on March 31 and is operated through special flights that allow arrivals in Tashkent and departures from Urgench, or vice versa. This routing provides more convenient logistics, expands travel opportunities across the country, and makes the itinerary more comprehensive.
The program is designed for organized groups and includes carefully developed itineraries covering Uzbekistan’s key tourist destinations, including Tashkent, Samarkand, Bukhara, and Khiva — major cultural heritage sites and iconic cities of the Silk Road. The tour packages include meals throughout the journey, ensuring a comfortable travel experience.
Special attention is given to group сопровождение. Tourists travel with professional Spanish-speaking guides who have in-depth knowledge of the country. They accompany groups throughout the entire itinerary, providing historical context and informational support.
The program includes departures not only from Madrid but also from several regional airports across Spain, increasing accessibility for travelers from different regions. One of the flights, scheduled for April 12 from Santiago de Compostela on an “Airbus A330,” was fully booked, with 388 passengers on board, all traveling as part of organized tour groups.
Pura Sevilla, Brand Manager at Travelplan, commented:
— The resumption of this program reflects a steady and growing demand for Uzbekistan — a culturally unique destination that Spanish tourists increasingly appreciate, especially when direct flights and a well-designed travel product are available.
During the spring season, in April and May, five additional flights are scheduled from Spanish cities including Madrid, Seville, and Zaragoza.
The resumption of the program strengthens Travelplan’s position as one of the key players in organized tourism between Spain and Uzbekistan, offering a combination of direct flights, comprehensive tour packages, and a high level of travel organization.
