The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan welcomes the establishment of a truce in the Middle East

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan issued an official statement regarding the announcement of a full ceasefire and the establishment of a truce in the Middle East, reports the correspondent of the “Dunyo” news agency.
“Uzbekistan welcomes the announcement of a full ceasefire and the establishment of a truce in the Middle East with the mediation of the leadership of Pakistan,” the statement said. “We consider this an important step toward de-escalating tensions and creating conditions for political and diplomatic dialogue and the search for mutually acceptable solutions.
We call on all parties to exercise restraint, refrain from actions that could lead to a renewed escalation of the situation, and continue constructive engagement in order to achieve sustainable peace and stability.
We reaffirm Uzbekistan’s consistent position on the need to resolve conflicts exclusively by peaceful means, in strict accordance with the principles of the United Nations Charter.”
