Uzbekistan and Spain strengthen interparliamentary cooperation

During his visit to Madrid, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, Bakhtiyor Saidov, also held a meeting with the First Deputy Speaker of the Senate of Spain, Javier Ignacio Maroto.
During the talks, the parties discussed strengthening interparliamentary dialogue and developing regular contacts between the legislative bodies of both countries. Particular attention was given to expanding cooperation at the parliamentary level as a key element of bilateral relations.
The significant potential for collaboration was highlighted, especially in the field of economic diplomacy, as well as the need for its more active implementation through joint initiatives and exchange of experiences. The importance of further developing ties between the parliaments of the two states was emphasized.
The parties expressed their readiness to continue strengthening the partnership between Uzbekistan and Spain based on mutual respect, trust, and shared values.
