Uzbekistan’s President Shavkat Mirziyoyev to Visit Switzerland at the Invitation of U.S. President Donald Trump

At the invitation of U.S. President Donald Trump, the President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, will pay a working visit to Switzerland to participate in the upcoming ceremony in Davos for the signing of the Charter of the Peace Council, established on the initiative of the American leader, reports the IA “Dunyo” correspondent.

According to the press service of the head of state, the leader of Uzbekistan previously accepted the invitation to join the Council as a founding member state.

In his message to the U.S. President, the leader of our country emphasized that this initiative is regarded as an important step toward resolving long-standing conflicts in the Middle East and ensuring peace and stability in the wider region.
