Uzbekistan’s tourism is breaking historical records — over 1 million foreign tourists visit the country every month

For the first time in the country’s history, inbound tourism is showing record-breaking figures — since April 2025, Uzbekistan has been receiving over 1 million foreign tourists every month.
According to the portal uzbektourism.uz, in the first nine months of this year, Uzbekistan was visited by 8.6 million foreign tourists, which is 112.5% more than during the same period last year.
Looking at the figures by country, in 2025 the growth in tourist arrivals compared to the post-pandemic period of 2022 is 2.6 times from the United Kingdom, 6.2 times from Qatar, 3 times from the United States, 2.9 times from France, 2.1 times from Russia, 3.3 times from Hungary, 2.5 times from Germany, and 6.2 times from Poland. Tourist service exports in 2025 also reached a record level, exceeding 3.6 billion USD.
The unprecedented success of domestic tourism is the result of deep reforms under the leadership of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev and targeted efforts to unlock the country’s tourism potential. Active cooperation with leading global media platforms, large-scale roadshows abroad, participation in international exhibitions, and publications in foreign media have significantly strengthened the Uzbekistan brand on the global stage.
