Uzbek–Spanish Roundtable on International and Regional Stability to Be Held in Madrid

On October 21, the “Casa Asia” Center in Madrid will host a roundtable titled “Spain and Uzbekistan Facing the Challenges of International and Regional Stability.”
The event is organized by Casa Asia, the Autonomous University of Madrid, the Research Group on Iranian Peoples (GEPI), and the International University Center for Eastern Europe and Central Asia (CUNEAC), with the support of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Spain.
Representatives of the diplomatic, academic, and expert communities of both countries will participate in the roundtable. The agenda includes discussions on key international and regional issues, including strengthening multilateral cooperation, ensuring energy security, enhancing interregional connectivity, and expanding collaboration in the field of cultural diplomacy.
According to the organizers, this initiative reflects the growing interest in Central Asia in Spain and across Europe, and reaffirms Uzbekistan’s commitment to strengthening mutually beneficial relations with international partners in line with the peaceful and open foreign policy pursued by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
The roundtable will serve as an important platform for exchanging views between diplomatic and academic representatives, helping to advance dialogue and further strengthen Uzbekistan–Spain cooperation across various fields.
