President of Uzbekistan Presents State Awards to Outstanding Young People

Under the Presidential Decree and Resolution of 29 June, a group of young people who have made a significant contribution to the development of New Uzbekistan through their knowledge, talent, initiative and dedication were awarded the Kelajak Bunyodkori (Builder of the Future) Medal and the Mard O‘g‘lon State Prize, the Dunyo News Agency reports.
According to the Presidential Press Service, the award ceremony took place on 30 June, marking Youth Day, at the Olympic Village in Tashkent.
Addressing the participants, the President stressed that every young person in the country possesses tremendous potential, talent and ability.
"You are the worthy heirs of our great ancestors, whose remarkable achievements made an immense contribution to world civilisation and who became the guiding lights of the First and Second Renaissances. Undoubtedly, being their heirs is not only a source of pride but also a great responsibility.
Just as our ancestors accomplished great deeds for the progress of humanity, you must become the driving force that lays the foundation for a new era of revival in New Uzbekistan—the Third Renaissance," the President said.
President Shavkat Mirziyoyev then presented the state awards to the recipients.
"On behalf of all our people, I once again congratulate today's recipients of these state honours. May this high recognition inspire you to reach even greater heights, and may your ranks continue to grow," the Uzbek leader said.
The award recipients expressed their gratitude for the opportunities created by the state and reaffirmed their commitment to contributing to the country's development and prosperity through their knowledge, hard work and initiative.
