President of Albania to Pay an Official Visit to Uzbekistan

At the invitation of the President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, the President of Albania, Bayram Begaj, accompanied by his spouse, will pay an official visit to Uzbekistan on 16–17 June, according to Dunyo News Agency.

According to the press service of the President of Uzbekistan, the visit’s programme includes high-level talks in Tashkent, during which the two sides will discuss prospects for the further development of multifaceted cooperation between Uzbekistan and Albania.

Particular attention will be given to expanding partnership in priority areas such as trade, industrial cooperation, agriculture, green energy, and tourism. The leaders will also consider measures to strengthen cultural and humanitarian exchanges.

The two sides are expected to exchange views on international issues, including mutual support within multilateral organizations and platforms.

As part of the visit, President Bayram Begaj will also participate in the fifth anniversary edition of the Tashkent International Investment Forum.
