Uzbekistan’s foreign trade reached USD 18 billion in the first quarter

Uzbekistan’s foreign trade turnover demonstrated steady positive growth in January–March 2026, reaching USD 18 billion, according to the correspondent of the Dunyo News Agency.
According to data from the National Statistics Committee of Uzbekistan, Uzbekistan’s key trading partners in the first quarter of the year continue to include both regional countries and leading global economies.
The top 10 countries by foreign trade turnover were:
- China — USD 4.6 billion
- Russia — USD 3.3 billion
- Kazakhstan — USD 1.3 billion
- Türkiye — USD 653.4 million
- Afghanistan — USD 508 million
- France — USD 488.9 million
- South Korea — USD 463.6 million
- United Arab Emirates — USD 458.7 million
- Turkmenistan — USD 357.5 million
- Germany — USD 304.8 million
The structure of trade confirms the continued strong share of Asian countries and CIS partners, driven by geographical proximity, developed logistics infrastructure, and deepening economic cooperation. At the same time, the growing presence of European partners reflects the ongoing diversification of Uzbekistan’s foreign economic relations.
