Tashkent and the industrial regions are driving the growth of Uzbekistan’s export potential

The leading region of Uzbekistan in 2025 in terms of exports was Tashkent, with 6.6 billion US dollars, significantly surpassing other regions of the country, according to the Dunyo news agency.
According to the National Statistics Committee, this accounts for nearly 20% of the country’s total exports, which reached 33.8 billion dollars last year.
Among the largest export centers are also:
Tashkent region — 2.2 billion,
Navoi region — 1.4 billion,
Andijan region — 1.3 billion,
Samarkand region — 1.2 billion,
Fergana region — 1.1 billion US dollars.
Followed by:
Namangan region — 722.6 million,
Kashkadarya region — 513.5 million,
Surkhandarya region — 507.5 million,
Khorezm region — 435.7 million,
Republic of Karakalpakstan — 435.2 million,
Bukhara region — 414 million,
Syrdarya region — 283.1 million,
Jizzakh region — 272.3 million US dollars.
The statistics show that the key drivers of Uzbekistan’s foreign trade remain the capital and industrially developed regions. The concentration of export potential in major economic centers indicates expanding production capacity, increased foreign economic activity, and strengthening of the country’s position in global markets.
