Uzbekistan will become the guest country of the international tourism exhibition in Spain

Uzbekistan will become the guest country of the international tourism exhibition “B-Travel”, which will take place from March 20 to 22 in Barcelona, according to the correspondent of the Dunyo News Agency, citing Europa Press.
The event will be held at the “Montjuïc” venue of the Fira de Barcelona exhibition center. Within the framework of the forum, Uzbekistan will present an extensive program of promotional and presentation activities, taking a central place in the business agenda.
It is noted that in recent years the Republic has become one of the most sought-after tourist destinations thanks to its historical heritage along the legendary Silk Road, which connected China with the Mediterranean, as well as famous cities such as Tashkent and Samarkand — one of the oldest and most renowned cities in the world. The richness of Islamic architecture and other unique landmarks of the country is emphasized.
The President of “B-Travel”, Martí Sarrate, stated that the Fira de Barcelona team is working to present destinations with their own identity to a broad audience, capable of inspiring and creating new business opportunities for the industry. According to him, Uzbekistan’s presence as a partner country will not only enrich the exhibition program but also open new opportunities for cooperation between tourism professionals, agencies, and tour operators.
He also expressed gratitude for the trust placed by the authorities and tourism representatives of Uzbekistan, thanks to which visitors will be able to discover a destination full of history, traditions, and prospects.
