President of Bulgaria paid an official visit to Uzbekistan

At the invitation of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, President of the Republic of Bulgaria, Rumen Radev, paid an official visit to our country on June 9–11.
The Presidents of Uzbekistan and Bulgaria considered issues related to the further development of mutually beneficial relations, including an increase in trade turnover, the establishment of cooperation in the agro-industrial complex, pharmaceutical industry, mining sector, and digitalization, as well as the expansion of tourism and cultural and humanitarian exchanges.
Following the summit talks held in the city of Tashkent, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and President of the Republic of Bulgaria Rumen Radev signed a Joint Declaration on expanding bilateral cooperation.
In the presence of the leaders, bilateral documents were also exchanged, including the Program of cooperation between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs for 2026-2027 and the Agreement on establishing partnership relations between the cities of Tashkent and Sofia.
The President of Bulgaria, Rumen Radev, also took part in the 4th Tashkent International Investment Forum.
