Completion of assigned tasks inspected
On December 12, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited mahallas of Tashkent city to get acquainted with the population’s living conditions, the state of preparedness for winter, and landscaping work.
First, the Head of state visited the heating plant of Toshkent Issiqlik Markazi enterprise in Uchtepa district. During last year’s visit of the Head of state to this facility, it was in deplorable condition. Built in 1969, it has never undergone significant renovations. Boiler houses and networks were outdated. Last winter, due to a sharp cold snap, there were interruptions in heat production. Therefore, the President instructed to repair boiler houses and increase the stability of heating networks.
During the current visit, the responsible persons reported on the work carried out and implementing these instructions in full. The boiler houses of the complex have a total capacity of 700 Gcal. They heat over a thousand apartment buildings and about 400 social institutions.
This year, a fuel oil facility and storage facilities were built, and two boilers were adapted to operate in mixed mode – on gas and fuel oil. As a result, the boiler room and networks operate stably even at low temperatures. In such cases, reserve fuel oil is used. Thanks to additional pipe insulation, heat loss has been reduced.
Here, the Head of state talked with the leadership of the cities of Tashkent and Uchtepa. The need was noted to establish the effective operation of the new “mahalla seven” system, to ensure that social issues are resolved locally, in accordance with the population’s needs.
The measures taken in preparation for winter must be genuinely reflected in people’s lives. An urgent task is the prompt solution of emerging problems in heating plants and networks and heat conservation in buildings and premises.
