The development of domestic transformer manufacturing is an important factor in stable power supply
President Shavkat Mirziyoyev got acquainted with the activities of Aysel Energy LLC in Tashkent.
During the abnormally cold weather this winter, problems appeared in the functioning of the power grid. In particular, some old transformers could not withstand the load and fail, which led to power outages.
The Head of state gave instructions to the responsible persons of the industry to update the electrical networks and expand the production of necessary equipment. A visit to this enterprise today is a logical continuation of the implementation of the tasks and the prevention of problems in the power grid.
Aysel Energy produces 10 thousand large-sized electrical equipment per year. The localization level at the enterprise operating on Turkish technology has reached 70 percent. As a result, a reduction in the cost of production and the cost of installing transformers was achieved. This will allow updating outdated transformers not only in the capital, but also throughout the country.
Responsible persons reported that this year the demand for electricity networks in the country will amount to 3.2 thousand transformers and 12 thousand kilometers of cables. The Head of state instructed to analyze imports and enhance production volumes, increasing the share of domestic producers when placing orders.
In general, the development of this area of the energy industry will serve to increase the stability of power grids.
